What can I expect?
Our Seasonal Indoor Markets are our largest and most high-energy events, held inside the Abbey Centre. With over 100 curated vendors, these shows are designed to feel full, exciting, and packed with things to explore. Expect a lively, family-friendly atmosphere with something for everyone, whether you’re shopping, bringing the kids, or making a day of it. Expect: Over 110 Vendors • Door Prizes • Colouring Contests • Market Money Giveaways • Photo Booths • Rotating Kids Zone: Mini Putt, Carnival Gaming Zone and Santa’s Workshop (a kids guided shopping area, always a HUGE hit).
For our Prairie Night Markets, you can expect a more adult-friendly night out set in a beautiful wooded campground just outside of town. With glowing lights, a relaxed atmosphere, and a slower, wander-and-enjoy pace, it’s designed to feel like a summer evening experience rather than a traditional market. Perfect for a casual date night, a girls night out, or bringing your dog along for the evening, these markets are especially dog-friendly. Our Blackfalds Days Market is part of one of the biggest weekends in town. Located right near the Kids Zone, and kicking off just after the parade wraps up, the energy is high and the crowds are steady all afternoon. While our market itself focuses on a strong lineup of vendors, the entire area is filled with activity, making it the perfect stop during a full day of events. Expect lots of foot traffic, great food trucks, and a busy, community-driven atmosphere.
What types of vendors can I expect?
You’ll find a curated mix of handmade goods, baked treats, artisan products, home décor, clothing, and more. We focus on quality, variety, and a unique shopping experience.
What are your market hours?
Seasonal Indoor Markets: Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Prairie Night Markets: 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Blackfalds Days Market: 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Is there an admission fee?
We proudly support local animal rescues, with 100% of admission donations going directly toward helping animals in need.
Seasonal Indoor Markets: Admission by donation.
Prairie Night Markets: Donation per vehicle upon entry.
Blackfalds Days Market: Free to attend, with an onsite adoption event accepting donations.
Is the market family-friendly?
Yes. Our indoor seasonal markets include a dedicated Kids Zone and activities designed for families.
Prairie Night Markets offer a more relaxed, evening atmosphere designed with an adult night out in mind. While children are welcome, the experience is best suited for adults.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. Indoor markets at the Abbey Centre are fully accessible.
Outdoor events are accessible, however, may include uneven ground, so come prepared.
Can I bring my dog?
Seasonal Indoor Markets: Only certified service dogs are permitted due to venue requirements.
Blackfalds Days Market: Pets are welcome, must be leashed and well-behaved.
Prairie Night Markets: Pets are welcome and encouraged. These events have a more dog-friendly atmosphere, but all pets must remain leashed and under control at all times.

We recommend bringing a mix of payment methods. For our Prairie Night Markets we suggest planning to bring cash as connections at the location can be unpredictable.
